Background

Christmas Cards. It is that thing where many agencies show what they can. Making youtube virals, twittergames, hashtagjokes, etc. All very digital. At the agency, a lot of digital stuff is made throughout the year. Instagram integrations, viral content, hits, shares, tweets, likes... Pffff... So it was decided to do the exact opposite.

Idea

So real, handwritten, Christmas Cards were sent. Every piece unique. Not all of them a work of art, but all of them personal and real. And some of them were real beauties. Real pieces of at.

The text on the card says: dear (name), we from 10 personally wish you a real warm Christmas.

And we hope to meet again next year!

Want to find out who wrote your card? Find out on 10.be/wensen

On the minisite people could see who wrote their card. That could be anyone, from the reception lady to the managing director. Everyone wrote some cards. The rest of the agency are also presented on that page, so people get to see the face of the agency.

In case you did not get a card and came across the site anyway, the opportunity was there to register for one. A promise was made to write the first 100! After 4 days they were gone...

Results

The campaign put a real, warm smile on the face of anyone who received a card. And of course had some effect on the social media too. Many people who received a card took a picture of it and posted it on twitter or facebook... Not exactly the effect they were looking for, but well...
