Background

For the opening of a new fitness center in Moschtihuus in Horn, the aim was to get a lot of recognition as quickly as possible and to motivate people to take out a subscription.

Idea

Instead of a simple throw-away card, pictures of people doing sit-ups were hung in the mailbox slots of the surrounding houses and apartments.

Results

Thanks to this response-triggering campaign, after just two months Fitness Moschtihuus already had 600 subscribers (capacity 750).

Our Thoughts

Mail has the capacity to be so much more than just a letter. In this instance, it becomes Outdoor, the mailing transformed into a little bit of ambient.

JA adds: Sometimes an idea comes along and you have to wonder why you’ve never seen it before. A good old-fashioned bit of paper engineering that might not tax the brain much, but will have those abs screaming for mercy.
