Background

Uber worked with Creature of London to create a campaign to raise awareness of Transport for London's consultation on private hire regulations in the capital. Uber users were urged to have their say before the consultation closed on December 23rd.

Idea

What happens when Londoners are forced to wait? Creature of London created an online campaign to raise awareness of TFL's consultation on private hire regulations which would see Uber passengers having to wait 5 minutes before beginning their journey. The video showed how Londoners reacted when they were forced to needlessly wait five minutes between booking an Uber and being able to start their journey, one of the proposals put forward by Transport for London.

Results

The video was viewed over 78,000 times. The campaign was a great success resulting in TfL dropping their proposals. Happy Uber users once again.
