Background

Shockingly 40% of young men aged 14-17 suffered from emotional distress, and it's this age group that were notoriously difficult to talk to about mental health.

Idea

So they were made the creatives on the brief. What they produced was surprising – an interactive zombie film and graphic novel.

In the interactive film and graphic novel, gory zombies represented everyday stresses, and it was up to the viewer to determine the outcomes. They could deal with the stress, or ignore it and suffer the consequences.

Results

With many unaware of how to seek help, a 'zombie survival kit' was provided, and 1 in 10 clicked through for further help.
