Background

MK Norway was born in Bergen. A small city on the west of Norway housing only 259,000 inhabitants and vastly known for its endless rainy days all year long. But what people don't know, is that Bergen is more than rain. It is a city flooded with creative talent.

Idea

To promote the opening of their Oslo office, the idea was that at MK Norway that it was worth bragging about their hometown artistic swag and for that, the House Of Bergen was created. A space that would pay tribute to Bergen artists from different disciplines and a little bit, to show that rain can be fun too. Several artists from Bergen were invited to turn their office into their creative canvas in their own disciplines. These went from record labels, painters, illustrators and furniture designers, to fashion and sunglasses designers. On the 13th of November, the House Of Bergen doors were opened to the public for a gallery-exhibition-like event. To invite people from the ad and communications industries to the event, a rainy invite was sent. It contained a card printed with invisible ink reactive to water and a cloud full of rain.

Results

Tons of media exposure, a successful event and maybe some new clients. Here´s a link to the case of the whole project: http://youtu.be/RdVbDxHgzC4
