Background

A bad breath can have serious consequences. A romantic date can become a nightmare, a job interview can go wrong. Luckily, Frisk launched their 2h Clean Breath mints, which guarantee a fresh breath during two hours.

Idea

The Brutally Honest Breath Meter was invented, an interactive display that tells you how bad you need a Frisk mint.

It was set up on strategic places like the biggest train stations in Belgium. When passers-by tested their breath, The Brutally Honest Breath Meter directly gave the results. For example:  "Your Breath stinks so bad your toothbrush thinks it's a toilet brush" or "Your breath smells so nasty your ass feels offended".

After this brutally honest result, people got a few Frisks to do something about their smelly breath.

Results

Passers-by appreciated the direct and funny way Frisk judged their breath. Not only were loads of Frisks handed out, there were also lots of smiles and freshness.

This campaign won a place in Adforum's Worldwide Top 5  Ads of The Week.

In Belgium, it was MM's Campaign of the Week

The campaign also got featured on Ads Of The World, Best Ads On Tv and several other websites.
