Background

New reusable package gives online shoppers an alternative to single-use packaging

Reusable RePack packages cause 80 % less CO2 emission than normal delivery packages. RePack’s marketing woos a global audience by lampooning Donald Trump.

Idea

Return and get rewarded – the system behind RePack is simple. RePack is a reusable webstore delivery package to replace single-use packaging. “RePack is a no-brainer. It’s the easiest reusable package in the world and a painless way to reduce waste”, says Jonne Hellgren, CEO of RePack.

RePack is used and mailed like any other package. Once the customer has opened the package, he or she drops it into a mail box. Returning is free of charge anywhere in the world. As a thank-you for the good deed, the returner receives an e-mail voucher with a discount for any webstore using RePack.

Less emissions, improved customer satisfaction

The climate-conscious, reusable package can be used at least 20 times. Over its lifecycle, it causes 80 % less CO2 emissions than normal packages. It also reduces tangible waste.

Pioneering online stores have found RePack good for the bottom line too. According to data, RePack customers spend more money and return more often than other customers.

Presidential look-alike spearheads RePack marketing

Waste reduction benefits the whole world, and that’s also the scope of RePack’s market area. RePack’s Scandalizer campaign stars a Donald Trump doppelgänger and mocks leaders who refuse to curb climate change.

RePack's Scandalizer generator lets users create personal White House scandal videos. The app features Trump hallmarks, like “Covfefe” and “Fake news!”, for added authenticity.

“When the big shots live in denial, it’s up to us smaller players to do the right thing. RePack helps everyone fight unnecessary garbage”, Hellgren promises.
